Our Nearest and Beautiful Beaches

Our Nearest Beach, only 5 minutes walk from our Crystal Bay Marina resort. This beach is a blend of large smooth pebbles and sandy areas depending mostly on the seas recent movements. The sea is often calm but equally has enough waves for a relaxing sound while you relax on one of the sunbeds. It is regular swimming beach for our holiday makers and resort staff alike. You are welcome to hire our resort paddle boards from our resort office and wander down for a lesson or a trip around the bay yourself if you already know how to use them. The beach is close by, but is also accessible by car if you have a lot to carry. This beach has a selection of sunbeds soley for your use as a Joya Cyprus vacationer. Please ask in the Resort office for the key code, and please do plan to put them back after use. (Top Left in the Image) Our next closest beach is a sandy beach cove hidden just around a cliff face opposite the SeaBreeze cafe. It is accessible by car and then by foot down to the beach cove itself. Due to some fantastic looking rock formations that extend right out into the sea this beach area has initially shallow depth for quite a way out, deepening much further out to sea, perfect for children to play in safely. The water is usually very clear and blue, as all our beaches. This beach is around a 20/30 minute walk (Depends how fast you walk!). A great beach a little further away is known as Turtle Bay beach as it is one of the best places to watch the famous North Cyprus turtles at night during the summer season. It is roughly 20mins away by car, with plenty of parking and showers at a minimum charge. The sea is usually calm and Sunbeds are available to hire from the local restaurant. The sand does get pretty hot on this beach so don’t forget your flipflops! Its colour is more golden course than the beach mentioned below. (Bottom Left in the Image)

One of the islands best beaches is just over an hour away from our resort. You could be forgiven for imagining you on a Caribbean beach, with the most wonderful clear waters and soft white sands. Sunbeds are available to hire for around 20tl in the summer season. Sunday is usually the busiest day, weekdays are much quieter and relaxing. The beach has showers and toilets available in the summer season, at a small charge and a selection of cold drinks to purchase. (Top Right in the Image)
